Story
The university's first mascot was the Citronaut, which first made an official appearance on the cover of the 1968-69 student handbook. The sports teams were originally known as the "Knights of the Pegasus", but the moniker was switched to "Golden Knights" in 1993 as a solution to poor merchandise sales. In 2007, UCF announced that they would be dropping "Golden" and have been known as the "Knights" ever since. Show your love for the Knights with this UCF Knights Crewneck!
